So glad I decided to meet some friends at the Intermission on Feb. 23rd, 2006. I recently relocated to this area after living on either coast of the United States for the past 25 years. It has taken me 6 months to venture out in search of the great Blues players that I remembered from my formative years in Madison, and after the first song, I knew I had found what I was looking for! I find it totally awesome how 2 players can touch the soul and refresh the spirit. Thanks for a couple of very entertaining evenings. You have renewed in me the belief that the Midwest still has the greatest blues players in the country! I look forward to catching your next show at the Intermission. God bless the Blues and the both of you for keeping alive the foundation on which all other musical styles were founded. You and Steve will never know how "instrumental" you were in giving me a major attitude adjustment about being back in this area.... It's been a tough 6 months, but your vocals combined with Steves guitar expertise, have given me second thoughts about high tailing it back to Florida.
