| In the early 20th century, there was a quiet migration of a spiritual and raw form of music. From the cotton fields of the deep South to the industrial lights of the Northern cities is the music we now call The Blues. It started out with a hand full of men and their songs. No big bands behind them, no walls of speakers, just the men and their guitars. It was a pure and simple form of music that touched the masses and grew into an American icon for the whole world to enjoy. As technology progressed, so did the Blues. With the addition of electricity, the Blues were amplified. With this amplification came a more aggressive style of the Blues. Full bands joined together to produce amazing sounds of soul and power. GT has taken the energy of electricity and combined it with the traditions of the early years to produce a sound somewhat forgotten in todays modern world. With powerful vocal lines and exciting guitar riffs, these two gentlemen have produced a soulful sound reminiscent of the early years. Renditions of well known blues favorites to their own songs, make the night exciting and somewhat breathtaking. Always with the Blues being held true. |
